"Children who are loved, come to school to learn. Children who are not, come to school to be loved." The most important lesson you can ever impart on a child is how to love and be loved, if nothing else, that is how they will change this world.

I can't really say when I first started down this path... did it begin at the beginning ? What I mean to say, was I born this way? Or was it created within me later on? If so, when was that? Or perhaps I'm the creature that is constantly changing. If free will does indeed exist and this is not a twisted fate that forever should come to pass, then I have surely made some very grave mistakes in this short life that cannot be undone. My sins are my own to bare, yet in an attempt to atone for them I've torn myself to pieces trying to right my wrongs. Sadly, I'm a creature that is changing, but forever unchanging in one way. I am at a stand still where each road before me leads to a painful darkness. One, which all my dreams will be crushed, and another where everything I love is stripped away from me. All to obtain the one thing I've ever truly wanted: freedom. It is at times like these I think back to those words.. "In Iraq we don't have dreams, in Iraq we survive." those words, I'll never forget.
